Going to dealer with mods

I am coming up on my first oil change since installing my sri. I was wondering if anyone has gone to the dealer with mods. Do any of you bother taking mods off to go in for service. I just don't want to be marked in a computer or something. That way if there is a problem I can take off the mods and go to a different dealership.

I personally have not, but I know some people who have. One person on this forum, I believe, went in with an AEM CAI and the dealer actually placed an approved modification sticker on it. I think with just an intake for an oil change they wont say anything, but every dealership is different

call your dealership in advance and ask them if it will be a problem...i scheduled an oil change appt. for tomorrow and i asked them if the CAI would be a problem..the tech said not at all

that was me.. I would show some pics, but dont have a digital camera.. They put some kind of special number/code ont he sticker.. I actually have 3 of them

just curious, what were u able 2 get approval stickers on???

I went in once and had the CAI.. next time I went in I had put an aftermarket alarm system and a TWM SS.. dont know if 2 are the same thing.. 2 are under the hood and one is in the door jam
*I didnt ask for them, they just appeared
