i hate taking my car to the dealer but the first one is free so what the hell. they better not wash my car i'll be f'in pissed.
has anyone had any problems with the dealer doing something to your car that you didnt like.
any problem when you tell them about the bushings?(clunking noise)
let me know she's going in on monday
thanks

If you have that clunking noise...tell them it's your bushings but also tell them to call their technical hotline...and unless you have a super dealership...they will not clean your car for you...

Rae, man they always wash my car and never dry it well. Then with the towels they seem to leave more noticeable swirls. Or maybe I just dont look at my car as well any normal day. But when it goes to the dealer I will even go as far as to crawl under the car to make sure there is a new oil filter. You never know.... Just like in Ferris Bueller when they park at the garage and the attendants take the ol' Ferarri for a spin...Man what a nightmare, but if I had the chance would do the same thing. :D Like I said you never know.... Shoot man hope I didnt put fear in you to take your baby in for the first time.. MUHAHAHAHAHA ... ;)

Yeah, my dealer will be swapping out a new set of front bushings for my squeaky-arse car soon. Next time I bring it in to get the swap I'll ultilize my free oil change coupon, which is just a courtesy service for purchasing the car. In the mean time I marked on the oil filter to see if they will actually change it.

I used to own a 323 and one of the south Austin Mazda dealership mechanic had simply forgotten to "refill" my engine with OIL. Had I not have the habit of filling my engine with engine treatments, I never would have noticed it until it came time for MAZDA SOUTH to rebuild my engine!

Anyway, for anyone living in Austin, Texas... avoid South Mazda (The Motor Mile strip) Parts & Service, cuz I've heard more than my OWN stories about mishaps going around there.

North Mazda is a bit better, maybe just because I have a new car, but they at least look more attentative and professional when handling my car. Although I have already heard from another Mazda owner how he noticed his truck was driven at least 40 miles for a minor repair (not sure how long ago THAT happened).

After this oil change I'm going to be doing my own oil changes in the future... unless I get lazy.

Kool! I got mine from Mazda South also. I would utilize my coupons that I get in the mail, but I am not in Austin much.

make sure you DO NOT let them wash your car... they washed mine without letting me know and theres a chip in my wing on both sides....i was so pissed.... other than that incident i am happy with my Stealership.. thier probably the most accomidating and knowledgeable Stealership ive been to... Unlike others who know absolutely nothing about their cars...

unrelated to the topic... do linuxninja and linuxlagermp3 know each other...? that's strange to almost share a name huh?
