Exactly .. the spam filter checks all mail anyway -- they just take the "good" mail and check it for content they can use to send some ads your way (hey its free email with 1 gig storage) -- plus the ads arent big and they are on the margins of the window.

Yea its not for file storage - its for email storage ... basically so you never fill up you space with email and have to delete stuff you really dont want to.

i will admit though...


this g.mail, if it all works properly, will more than likely slam hotmail to the ground. better service, better servers, better space, better filters...

google will own the world soon.

i imagine hotmail will match google soon like yahoo mail did....

google has some nice features though like the google search through your mail, the method they use for sorting mail (no folders) and some other details are pretty impressive
