GI: SpeedCircuit Protege Turbo Kit

just for you all, dino is my boy. we've done a s*** ton of work together on my car, and his. and there will be more in the future. The final thing is that, he makes quality stuff, and it'll be great..

Good stuff dino! keep it up.

how much is this kit gonna run again? i could look. but i figured all the responses i get on search or whatever might bump it to page 17 lol.

First page he says The cost would be in the neighborhood of $3500 for this high quality kit.

Dammit!

In other news, the manifold looks great.

Believe it or not, there are some haters on this forum talking s*** about this manifold. One Guy went so far to say it belongs on a BMW so that it is hidden.

I love how clean mine is and how unique it makes the bay look. I also love the performance and Leen did a great job designing and building it. Spool is very early and smooth, most likely because of how the runners are directed to the Turbo so well. Being gated also helps a bunch.

I have put 1,000 miles on the new set up already and love every second of it. No need for a sound system anymore! Lol. The 3" downpipe and open wastegate is music to my ears. I think it should be an option for the purchaser to have open wastegate. Is that possible Dino?

Let the haters say whatever they want. Bottom line, this is hands down the best turbo kit available for the Mazda Protege.

As for the open wastegate, we are considering making this an option for those who don't mind the noise.

I'm with you on this..my first impression was not only the smoothness but also how the exhaust note changed, really pleased with the sound. Build quality is incredible, like someone once said "it's bomb proof"...so it was a no brainer for me.

I'll say it again...this turbo kit looks really really nice and the workmanship is what it's all about. I think the kit should be called something like...The Speedcircuit (Peace of mind) turbo kit.

Haha, not bad. Peace of mind is definitely what we're going for here. I've seen Protege owners redo their turbo setups time and time again only to trade one set of issues for another.

I've designed this kit to be a "one and done" type of deal. It's designed to last the life of the car and be headache-free.

Evening bump so we all see more pictures! Also is there still going to be the 2 fmic options? if so will there be any pictures of it? (got the visual in my head just want to see it on the car)

Got the car fired up today. Didn't get to drive it since there's still two feet of snow on the ground, but it was nice to hear it roar.
