I am not trying to rain on anyones parade but I do want to say again that if you delete the EGR you will have cold startup issues. It does not effect how the car cruises. You will have no other issues other than at start up.
The issue is the car has a real lean moment with no EGR and the car will have trouble idling and it will act like it is missing, if you give the car any gas it will choke out and almost die.
Like I said its not a massive deal because it is just at start up.
I guess I never gave a s*** about that.. We don't need to pass emmisions testing here..
I haven't made much tangible progress. I've been working on an EGR delete that won't result in a CEL, and won't result in cold start issues. The more I look at it the more I really don't want to include EGR so I need to find a solution that everyone will be happy with. EGR really messes with the design of the manifold unless I do the homedepot gas line for EGR, but I don't like the look of it. I'll make some decisions and finish the mold in a couple weeks. School is out on June 6th so I'll finally have the time this deserves.
How do you plan on fooling the PCM to not throw a CEL?
Hmm sub. How terrible would this be to run NA?
the intake manifold is the one that connects to in the back of the engine. the turbo manifold is in the front
