GHL Motorsports True Turboback Pictures

Should I be worried about a lack of flex pipe on this exhaust...this is def the one I am getting, but could this be a problem?

Thats all well and good that street unit is selling the GHL exhaust on their website but they want the exact same price for it that GHL is selling it for on their website you would think that one could do a little better on the price I bet it probably only cost some where around 500-700 total to make. I will say this though that exhaust is freaking awsome and i cant wait to have enough money to purchase it.

I think the price is more than reasonable, considering there aren't too many true 3" turbo-back exhausts out there for our car.

good point and they are good people so thats also something to take into concideration.

See the reason I ask is because im trying to figure out why the dyno #s are so low for this exhaust. Ions made 22whp and im sure other non turbobacks can at least make 15whp but this one only made 10whp.(confused)

yea i dunno really. was that 22whp bone stock or was there an intake or anything? ill ill find out this summer what mine does.

mspeed: his baseline was with the racing harts and his dyno was on steelies. The extra weight from the steelies could explain some of it.

Actually I'd speculate that the steelies with snow tires are lighter. They we 15" (??) steelies, correct? Stock wheels and tires weigh ~42 lbs a piece.

The 22whp was with a FMIC and intake but so was Goku's. The only thing I can think of is maybe the before and after were done on different dynos. I dont think the steelies would make a difference would they?

On an inertia dyno it would since there is less mass to be accelerated. Example: A show on SPEED Channel dynoed before and after putting a big brake kit on a RSX and lost 12-16 whp (I forget which) due to the extra weight of the bigger discs.

Yea but I doubt that the steelies weight more then the stockers. If anything I think the dyno would be higher with the steelies wouldnt it?

Yea, I'd assume that the steelies are quite a bit lighter then stock wheels and the dyno should be higher. My point is that something is screwy with his dyno's. Too many variables to actually be taken as legitimate figures.
