Getting new suspension

Im lookin to get new srings and struts. Any suggestion for the best quality for the money.. I dont go to the track or anything and i liked the suspension on the car now. I have 90 thousand on it though so i wanna replace.Any help would be appreciated.

get the same setup if you like it now. tokico blues and mazdaspeed springs.

or some guys run illuminas with some good quality lowering springs. adjustability is nice.

Installing them yourself is fairly easy.

Why do you want new springs? Springs typically don't wear out significantly in 90,000 miles. Take a look at THIS thread. Are you looking to drastically change the height of your car? For the money and difference between your MP3 springs and MSP springs, I don't think I would spend the money on the MSP springs.

Check out PROTEGE GARAGE for strut options and good pricing.

for the best compromise between comfort and style, check out the Tokico HP Handling kit

The problem is rear ride height. If you get anything other than dealer supplied Tokico blues, your rear end will sit different (lower or higher I have no idea) because the spring perches are different.

From onlinemazdaparts rep here on the forum the stock Tokico Blues will run $172 a piece, which is ridiculous. If you check out the suspension thread in my signature that will give you a run down of the coilover options available. If you're looking for regular Tokico Blues that will run you $350 for the struts. Lowering springs run anywhere from $120 to $300.

Installation at a shop will run $500 most of the time, but rarely will a shop install parts that you bring in because then they don't make any money from the parts sale.

OT: I also just realized that njaremka isn't too far from where I live.

i hope you are not getting the Tokico Blue HP's mized up with the Mazdaspeed Blue struts - they are completely different, despite being the same color. but yeah, MSP springs with anything other than MSP struts will not work out in the rear.

oh, and, yup... auburn is only about an hour from ro-cha-cha :D and, i work closer, over in seneca falls
