Getting 15% tint today.

Something has been bothering me ever sense i got my msp, NO TINT, im on vacation im hitting a local tint shop They can legally do 35%, but they said if i sign a waver they can do whatever i want, so im gonna catch a waver and go for 10 - 15% depending on what i like when i check out the samples. Just wanted to let you guys know wut im doing on my vacation

True though it is weird.

I did my friends in 5% all the way around with about 1% on the little side windows back many years ago. You know what???? Never got a ticket!!
Even got pulled over once and measured but no ticket.

Now with my old Saturn I had 35% up front and 5% in the back. Got pulled over twice!!!!

Now I run 35% all the way around with is still illegal on the front windows and no trouble. Course it looks completely factory, even the cuts you can not see them.

Its kinda of a luck game.

Dude....be careful riding around MD with dark tint. Anything darker than 35% is illegal, but you can usually get away with 20%. Anything darker than that and you might get a ticket and repair order...not too much fun.

the guy that sold me the protege i asked him about tint cuz he's an ex maryland police officer, he said you could go 10% in maryland is the back window they worry about, he said as long as you roll the windows down to were they can seeyou clearly when they approach they wont say anything. He also told me if they do to come see him he can get rid of the ticket for me

Yeah I work next to the Howard County Police station and that's pretty much the same thing i've been told. They just said once and a while you'll get a cop that's a prick. It's always cool to have a hookup with your local law enforcement.

I think my back windows are 20% and it is kinda scary backing up at night. Very tough to see back there. Kinda wish it was 35% all way around.

i don't think a police officer that isn't even there can void the ticket, especially an EX officer. just get the 35% all around and you won't have to worry about it at all.

yeah i had 15% already when i posted my second message, an ex police officer cant void it but he said he would "take care of it" meaning he'll get one of his police officer friends to void it i got the hookup trust me no worries and 15% looks wicked i got some mad looks tonight downtown knoxville next to UT campus, had a chick give me her phone number sucked i couldn't roll down my windows had to just open my door LOL. anyways. i'll post the pictures when i get back to maryland. the company that did my tent is Solar Pro's in knoxville, tn

I am from Mass and you can't go above 35%. I got my windows tinted 43% last friday and they look great. I am going to get some pics tomorrow and i'll get them posted.
