I was orginally going for the KW2s but the Pol Positions have a good rating overall! ANd now the RE-01Rs have good written reviews

The RE-01R and the KDW2 's have a nice tread pattern. What's the tread life warrenty about? Only the Pole Positions have them.

Here's a comparsion of the three tires. I'll put it in the first post.

Tread life is number one concern, then road noise, then Tread pattern.
I second this. I also recommend these: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=PZero+Nero+M%26S

Well i did more research and it seems like. The RE-01Rs are more of a track tire and auto cross.

SO it comes down to:

1)Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
2)BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW2

The Kdw's wont last long and are noisy, but grip very well. Dont get azenis, if you make power, you will spin. More of a autocross tire.

You may not be too interested but I was considering the KDW's as well, but wanted to save some $$. I decided to get some decent all seasons, General Exclaim UHP ~70ea. After 600 miles the handle well, ride soft, and are very quiet. Also the treadwear was 380 Temp AA and Tract A. It's a good affordable option.

Eh, I don't entirely agree with that.

I have a pair of the KDW's on my MSP, and I absolutely love that tire. Not only does the tread pattern look bleepin' amazing, but they have incredible grip.

They are a bit noisy, but nothing too bad. IMO, at least, but everyone has different thoughts about different noise levels.

As far as them not lasting long, I've had mine on my MSP for two spring/summers now, a total of about 13 months. The tread is still in great shape. I'd offer to take pictures, but since I'm on my winter steelies now, my KDW's are up in the attic and inaccessable. Blargh.

EDIT: On another note, when I was researching what kinda tire I wanted to get -- I noticed that anything Potenza seems to be overpriced. Look at the reviews between the Potenza tires compared to the BFGoodrich's -- there isn't THAT much of a difference, yet the Potenzas cost $15 - $20 more per tire. When you're buying a whole set, that can add up to $100. Just something to think about.

Can't vote as I do not like your choices. I have been very happy with my Goodyears. No noise, wear well, and grip very well.

Thanks for the input all.

I like the Potenza RE960as Pole Position over all of them. But they're freakin expensive! Two shops have given me $158.99 AND $166. I'll take a look at some falken and goodyears. any other reccomendations?

My suggestion would be http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c=1&cf=false&sw=false&cs=225&pc=11867&rd=17&ar=45
I've got my second set of these tires on the car now as street tires and my track rain tires. They've worn well, they're great in the wet and have very good grip. Only $112 too.

I have the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 on the stock rims and they are the worst tire I've ever had on the car (including stock Bridgestones and Fuzion ZRi). The sidewalls are so soft it makes the suspension and steering feel slow and soft.

Idea...I just got a set of Hancook tires and they look sweet on the car.

I am not too familiar with the other tires though.
