I would say your car would have to be stock, they might not do it for modded cars.. we will see. Pretty neat though.

Looked interesting.. And while I love researching NA and FI power methods, I'm always for something that would help the environment.

So I did some research.

This is the best quote so far:

I checked into this pretty exhaustively. The product (HAPC and its companion PICC) is marketed by a man named Dennis Lee who has some Christian-based cult called "United Community Services of America" (UCSA). They are forbidden by law from marketing their "wares" in about five states where those states' consumer protection attorneys have apparently stopped them. This Hydro Assist Fuel Cell is one of the latest things they are trying to foist upon an unsuspecting public at considerable cost.
The interesting thread that is from is here.

Scam? Maybe. Would car companies buy into it if it really existed? Maybe. Have I watched too many X-Files reruns and think that the gas industry has a chokehold on the automotive industry, so they prevent them from buying into such technologies even if they did exist? Maybe. :D Y'never know.

Damn, I don't know what to think about the situation. It would be pretty sweet if it was true though.

I was just looking at that site and they have to be compareing their highway milage against the car or trucks in town mileage. My f150 get 16 mpg average in town and they say theirs originally got 12.7mpg highway before they did their trick..... I dont think I would believe their advertised 159% increase on mileage for the f150 anyways.

Well... duh... if there were an easy way to break complex hydrocarbons into a form of superfuel, with a device costing less than a million bucks a pop... your local Chevron would already be selling whatever snake oil these guys are talking about.

This is one of the most bizarre "fuel saving" gadgets I've seen on the internet, so far... funny site, too...

hydrogen gas with petrol

Just did a port job on a 1.8 BOP. Big dif once the exhaust was cleared of fac. casting slag. Pulls to 6,500 straight through. Have the e-books on Hydrogen gas or "Browns gas". Good clear pic.s and diagrams. Own every thing from the 94 1.8 to a guzzling 2005 Blazer, to a 425 hp stroker small blk chevy. The books are well written and they give you suppliers for the odds and ends. If it works I'll test it on on every I own. Don't see any road blocks in the lit yet. Will have the basic unit hydrogen generator build in a week or two. Read the history links on Brown's gas. This technolgy has been surpressed for years. check it out ! ps. They said in the 60's and 70's synthetic oil was bad too and now look around ! I ran syn oil in the 70's.. no prob's.
