Well after this past Sunday I got to talking with my Rx-8 friend Sokim about if any runs where talked about on Rx8club he said no and its a shame. Well I aim to fix that, well atleast for us if you will and a few others.
Several years ago after first getting my Rx-8 I took it up to visit a friend in VT. It was my first real major trip since owning her. Once I hit and drove Interstate 89 WoW! The curves, the hills, the sights.. it was just amazing, and on the way back it was even better. I've been dying to maybe plan a run up there with a few of my friends and well why not now?
In my head we would start out at the Mc Donalds rest stop on I-95N in Lexington, MA and head up to Willston, VT where there is a Friendlies Ice Cream shop that has a parkinglot that could accomodate us. I googlemapped the run and its a 3hr 14min drive there. So overall your looking at around a 6.5hr drive, 416 miles total.
I tired to get a saved image of the route but alas my interweb skillz fail me so here is a link to the route.

If there is interest I'll start to polish up the run and organization. Trust me when I say I don't mess around with meets and put on one 2 years ago in Brighton that had about 30 mazda people show up for a install Meet
Date is tenitive to be the end of April right now.
