gauge pod cluster

anyone who has installed the gauge pod 3 gauge cluster, could you please let me know what you did to secure it onto the dash...i have it installed but the mounting tape that i put on the bottom side of it doesn't really do justice.

we use the velcro strips you can get at a hardware store along the sides of it. stays hidden and allows for easy removal/opening.

AFAIK, it works with any 6 (6i, 6s, speed6) without nav.

Do you mean you are looking for a gauge pod to use in a nav-equipped car?
Glow Shift makes a pillar pod.

You shouldn't use the pillar pod since we've got the side curtain air bags in the front. Not the safeest decision...

yes, it works with all non-nav equipped 6 chassis cars

I'm pretty sure there are no actual airbag modules on the A-pillar.... but I'll double check that in WSM when I get home (I think the info should be in there).

I thought the curtain dropped from mid way up the A-pillar down to the C-pillar. Trying to find a pic, but just looking out for everyone. I don't think a boost gauge to the face would be too pleasant.

only option right now is a triple gauge Apillar

The module location is not the issue. Its the violent action of the airbag going off with said gauges as a possible projectile.
