Gauge choices?

So I'm looking for a gauge set up for the new car, and I've pretty much narrowed it down to 2 styles: The Blitz BLM gauges, or the Prosport premium ones. Wondering what people think about going with a contrasting color for gauges in the interior of the vehicle.

Here's a pic of the BLM gauges, only avail in 60mm, and boost is measured in bar, not psi.

Here's the Prosport ones for comparison(from PG):

I went prosport because they match the stock gauge panel almost perfectly. They are also reasonably priced to boot!

That blitz gauge is very nice though! Only problem is the bar readings would piss me off for the first month or so, until I got used to reading it...

Exactly which gauges do you have? I was thinking boost, EGT, and oil pressure...any suggestions?

DEFI is the best if you are going to get multiple gauges. Once the links are setup, all you gotta do is plug in the other gauges into the link control box for power. There is no substitute for DEFI.

All other gauges don't compare to these but get ready to pay a pretty penny.

Boost gauge and link meter will run you 300 - 330.

Good stuff. I was really trying to avoid losing my heating vents since I live in MI and the weather is unpredictable. I did some research on the Defi's, the price isn't terrible, but I realize their 60mm gauges. The gauge pod that goes on the top of the dash will only accommodate 52mm according to PG. I'm sure I could mill them out, but I'm not sure if I wanna chance it. I also don't think we should mount them on the A-pillar since the curtain airbag is there.

Curtain aibags are inside the headliner. There are only a bunch of wires going through the A pillar. I know cuz mine is mounted on the A pillar.

The curtain airbags ARE inside the A pillar. If you take the cover off you'll see them.

Well, I've seen both done and I was just getting a feel. I guess its just a matter of personal preference.

always comes down to personal preference.

speaking of which, i like the prosport.

I'll chime in with more support for the Defi gauges. I haven't seen them in person, but from all the pics I've seen they match just about perfectly, and the videos of their startup/shutdown sequence is really nice too.
