G2 wheelwax

Probably because I have been applying wax to my wheels for decades, I am not buying the whole wax will melt theory promoted on that product's website.

"The secret is WheelWax is actually a polymer and contains no wax which would melt and cause wheels to attract more brake dust. The formula for WheelWax contains an antistatic element that changes the surface polarity of the wheels to repel brake dust particles."

But that said, whether you apply a wax, polish or sealant to your wheels, there is no doubt that they will stay cleaner longer and be easier to clean by putting something on them. But you then need to be careful what you use to wash them afterwards as something too harsh will strip away all your efforts. And ditching those OEM brake pads will also go a long way to keeping your wheels clean.

i just use standard car wax on my wheels.

ditto

heres another thread about wheel waxing. not sure if it mentions the specific product your talking about.

i wax my wheels about every 3 months just using a regular caranuba wax. i have also tried that eagle 1 tech wax stuff that works pretty well. im not sure i buy the whole "melting" argument. i guess i could see it if you were AutoX or racing hard where you were using alot of brakes, but for daily driving i dont think the wheels would get much hotter than the paint on a black mica in the summer

I just use Eagle 1's wax as you dry after every wash, my wheels are mesh so standard wax is not an option for me...to time consuming!
