FYI: Mid-year changes for current/future 2010 Mazda 3

Yeah it could be just slow turnaround on some of their vehicles. Bought mine about 3 weeks ago, and it has the side mirror lights and floor LED's. But they only had one left when I bought mine. Saw they have 3 now, looks like two don't have the mirror lights.

It does still have the blue led mood lighting behind the door pulls and on the console

Now that you mention it, I noticed the other night when driving the 3 that there is no footwell lighting. The ambient lighting behind the door pulls and overhead console is there and I do have the mirror turn signal lamps. We bought this car back in November. It is a Grand Touring S model sedan with tech package.

To my knowledge, rain sensing wipers have not been removed...

not a deal-breaker for me, but it would've been nice to have the side mirror turn signals. the under dash lighting is still available as an accessory, so I'll probably get it (Online Mazda Parts has it for $165).

mine was built 7/09....I bought it 3/6/10. dealer had to locate black mica. must have been sitting for awhile, but i have the lights on mirrors and footwells. btw, my new sneakers shine under that blue glow...LOL

I just noticed the LED footwell lighting is there but it is only on with the doors open, not as ambient lighting at night. My wife drives the car most of the time so I don't always notice these things.

Hi,
Do you know if the first 2010 models that had the side mirror turn signals?
and the mid-year change ones with out the side mirror turn signals both have heated mirrors? Also what is the other difference between the two?
I have a 2008 I'm leasing and my lease is up next month so I'm going to lease a new 2010 and my dealer had a white and a red GT with the side mirror turn signals should I get one of those over the ones with out?

Yes, the 1st 2010's had side mirror signals and footwell lighting. This stopped on all vehicles produced after November 1st, 2009. Both original and refresh have heated mirrors.

I'd suggest getting the ones w/the signals. Looks much nicer and the interior footwell lighting is great. There's another thread at a different forum that has the full list of changes, but it locks you out after viewing like 10 pages. Google search "mazda 3 2010 missing turn signal" and you'll find it on page 3 or 4 of the first link that pops up.

I was set on getting a GT 5 door black or graphite one but I can only find a velocity red and a white pearl with the side mirror turn signals. Decisions, decisions..lol
