Dave_13_2002, how much HP do you think your pushing out now? Was it worth it for all the mods?
 
nattyboy513: I got my eyelids from Erebuni. They are fiberglass. I should have pics of my car in about 2 weeks that I'll post.

Right now as far as HP concerns, I have no clue since I have yet to dyno. All i know is it is more then stock.

Now for if it was worth it, Yes and no is my answer. BOV-I should have got a recirculating one as I have a bad Idle, my car stalls at high boost now, and it is some what annoying if you are trying to stay quiet at night comming into your drive way. The exhaust Great! Sounds, deeper then the stock but not ricey or raspy. Boost controller- NOT WORTH IT AT ALL, :mad: If i set it higher (8-9) my car stalls way to much with the BOV. the car runs bad as I only get about 10-11 mpg as to when I did not i got 15-20 mpg. The TT- great, saves me the trouble of have to wait for the turbo cool down. The piping looks good also seemed to raise the boost a little(not much but some), and the FMIC-VERY worth the purchase as it just flows with the car, it also help keeping the temps down.

Hey man do you have any pics of the FMIC piping?? I've been trying to work that out. Also what size is Your JIC? does it come in 3'?? Also the Spool Will work you will Prob have to make your own hotpipe (turbo to the intercooler pipe) right spoolin?? No I'm not rich I Paid for bout half my car when I bought it. If i Got an EVO i would prob sell this car.

depending on how you run you piping your CAI might not work.

So dave you wouldn't recommend a boost controller? Or do you think it is doing that becuase of the BOV you got? Also have you raced anyone? what do you think you could run right now?
 
The exhaust is mostly custom; what i mean is I got a universal canister from JIC part number-C-505SU-3 Ihad to mount it on a slight angle (think apexi but not as bad) The dimensions are 3.15 inlet-5.5 canister-4.0tip then the I had a near by shop do the rest, it starts at 2.5" and ends in 3" connecting to the canister. As for the pics none at the moment but I will have some up end of next month (purchasing digital camera then).

As for the Boost Controller, get an AFC first and dont get a BOV that vents to the atmosphere at least not yet. :D
I have raced, when I had only the exhaust as a performance mod. It was an Mitsu Lancer OZ (riced out may I add) Only beat it by about a car, i was not pushing it at all at that time I was still getting used to the car and driving manual. Now with everything I raced a SVT Focus with Borla exhaust, AEM ram air intake/ pully kit, Fidanza light weight flywheel, Centerforce duel friction clutch, Focus central 65MM Throttle body, Superchip, JBA 4-1 headers, and finnaly NX EFI single nozzle system spraying a 75hp shot. (my room mate, he works at a local shop). Needless to say he kicked my ass pretty bad. I Have yet to hit the track as it is closed for the season. My geuss would be very high 14's. But I am more looking forward to AutoXing this car.

I know I have caused shame to the MSP by not killing it. If I find that car again, I plan on giving it a one car jump then floor it and get at least 2 cars on him.
