Funtional Sharkfin antenna modded/installed

Got in on a groupbuy for the functional sharkfin antenna on a diff forum. Got my antenna this past thursday and had time to install it today. First of all its a nice looking piece and the paint was spot on. It came with double sided tape allready installed along the bottom edge and the antenna portion mounted on the inside.
My MZ3 has the OEM Sirius kit wih the antena mounted right behind the regular radio antenna. The sharkfin antenna will cover the Sirius antenna but I did have to modify it to clear the Sirius antenna cabe. Nothing a little measuring and some careful dremeling couldnt take care of.
After dremeling I test fitted and it fits perfectly. Applied a little clear silicone sealant to the notch that I had to dremel it was mounted anl looks awsome.. Gives the top of the car a more finished look.
Recommend the mod to anyone as its quick and easy even with having to mod the antenna to clear the Sirius wire. Posting a few pics for ya....

Thanks guys...Just a FYI the reception is better than the stubby antenna I had on there so it is functional as well as asthetically pleasing....

Just wanted to mentioned that the seller is very good to deal with. And communication is very prompted.

As for the reception quality, the shark fin is not as good as the OEM whip antenna but noticeably better than a stubby.
