Whole ordeal took about 2 hours with lots of breaks in between.

I purchased the Fujita CAI from ebay..about $200+shipped and came with a nifty bag.

The reason the install took so long was the damn resonator box. That alone took over 1/2 hr to remove.

I jacked up the car and removed the wheel and wheel well cover. Removed the Top Mount Intercooler cover..and broke the damn bolt (bang) . Freakin Mazda and their bad bolts.

Anywayz..the install went well..i didn't have enough time to fab up something to block the ventholes in the wheel cover..to i just used lots of duct tape for a temp solution until i have time to fab up something.

I reset the ecu..by unplugging battery...

On scale of 1-10 for difficulty..i will give this install a 4 b/c of the resonator box.

When i re-connected everything back up..let the car idle for about 10 minutes..it sputter at first..I think it was the ecu trying to add feul to compensate for extra air that was being delivered.

After a shower and some dinner..i took car for quick ride around the block...Didn't really notice anything on but dyno..but the sound was amazing..i can hear turbo spool..and the BOV was loud enough my little bro could hear me a block away.(headbang)

disappointing number considering ive seen stock dynos yields the same.. if not more than that..

yes but it has already been proven that cai arn't resulting that big of gains over stock...this goes for other cai not just fujita.

Guys, look at the before and after and you can see gains there - it doesn't matter what the #'s say as it's all relative. If you dyno higher on the same dyno with a CAI than without (as it shows), then you've got gains.

I've got my CAI and I've removed it once and then put it back on again and both times the improvements ARE noticeable - you just pull harder once the turbo spools.

Got to really open it up today..i was on the highway..and the turbo spools faster....Still haven't registered anything on but dyno..

But the BOV sound is well worth the price..the xtra ponnies is a bonus.

Dont look at the number it put down, but the comparison between stock and CAI.

(gun) I can't tell you how many people getting stuck on the number and not the difference.

understood.. im not wet behind the ears...
my comment is based on my assumption that the difference indicated were not taken as before and after runs..
but of multiple runs with 210 bein the hightest.. apologies if im mistaken..

that's so true...#'s really don't mean much unless the same dyno is used..under same conditions (humidity, weather)..etc.

Also, if it's it's SAE corrected..and if used any type of smotthing software

Do you have a digital camera? could you possibly tape a video or record some sound of you driving by or in the car so we can hear the BOV? :D

(hand) oh btw, is your BOV stock? if not what are you running?

Make sure you disconnect the battery after installing any mod to reset the computer...That is how my Hondas and Acuras have been. Did the airbox mod on my wifes 6i and the seat o' the pants dyno said more low end torque after the disconnect and reboot.

I am using stock eveything except for Intake.

I did reset ecu and let the care idle for 5 minutes b/4 i went out for a ride.

Hey guys!! I just installed my FUJITA yesterday! I payed about the same, it was $237 shipped and had all parts and a duffel bag and a goofy hat! But anyways! I LOVE IT! Like acidbbg said the BOV is worth the money! Its so loud when u let off the gas that u can drive around with ur window down and no radio and be amused for the whole drive! Haha! It does seem to spool faster and it was easy! Mine took about and hour. That damn resinator box was a pain! But what i did acid was turn my wheels all the way to the right and take the wheel well cover all the way loose. Then it was nice. If any one has any questions about it then i would be happy to answer! I can post pics if someone knows how and what i gotta do..... The sound is HEAVEN! Later guys!

Also, my buddy had the fujita on his rsx-s and he loved it also! Never had any problems or anything. So this is a good buy for people who want one!
