Fuel Filter?????

Ok so my car sometimes seems to wanna stall when i first start the car and try to take off even if the car is warm. after like 30 seconds it seems to be fine and no sputtering problems. any ideas??? it might be the injectors but not sure. im thinking its the filter but i went to a few car stores to buy one and they all said the fuel filter is not serviceable??? i have no idea please help

Wow no feedback on this one huh? Ever find out what was wrong? I've got same issue. Going to change "filter". Actually there's no filter, there's only a strainer in tank on the fuel pump, which acts as a filter. Probably why they said "not serviceable". If that's not the prob, I'll try fuel pressure reg., vac line smells a lil of fuel. Anyone else care to chime in?

There is a fuel filter in the tank as well as a strainer. It is part of the fuel pump assy. All you have to do is remove your rear seats, remove the 2 fuel lines, the wire harness, remove the entire fuel pump assy. And the pump will come out of the filter assy. The part number from napa is ATM 3621321. The brand is Ultra-8 Altrom Imports and it shouldn't run ya more than 35$
