Please help me understand why I am hitting fuel cut at such a low psi (9)(bang) . I don't completly understand the whole "Fuel Cut" thing anyway. Does this also have to do with how much air I am getting pulled through the MAF? I could just use some help.(crazy) (crazy) (crazy)

whats the air temp outside? may be too cold and the air is denser.....denser = more....so u may be triggerin the cut that way

Air temp outside is around 65 degrees.

I get the same thing. That's why I am getting an FCD. So I can run 9.5psi without running into issues with the car bogging on me.

I hit fuel cut around 45 degrees at that PSI. I hit it this morning getting on the highway as a matter of fact (nuts)

lol dude.. I hit fuel cut @ 7psi 3rd gear.. it won't let me freaking go higher!!!

so be happy u can atleast get to 8! where I have to stay under 6psi just to be safe!

Not flashed. No mods.
Wait..wait....back up a minute!!!!! If you have no mod's, how are you hitting fuel cut " with no BC???? Stock boost is not 9PSI. And even with it being 65 Degrees outside, will not make it hit fuel cut?????(confused)

I only hit fuel cut at stock boost when it was frigid outside, like -15 to -20 degrees celsius (aka Friggin cold).
Something's wrong because 65 degrees farenheit isn't cold.

I had the same issues... 9psi would cut at about 60 degrees.. its not cold, but the air is alot denser, and meter's differently.
Joe's FCD elimated 99% of cut issues. Running 12-13 in 10 degree weather and it would still cut.. but i have NOT had any other issues with it.

My mistake..... I am running only a Turbo XS Dual stage boost controller. Soon to be more.(rockon)

have you tried colder plugs and wires? they arent that exspensive, better than having to replace a whole turbo. the only problems ive had is building to much boost in to short of time, then i hit boost cut

i don't know why

i don't know why you would be hitting fuel cut at 9psi, i run 10 psi without fcd , now i have hit rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd gear, but never fuel cut,now my mods are cai, magnaflow exhaust, turboxs mbc,joe p fcd, turbosmart dual port bov (without bpv) custom hardpipes, wideband a/f gauge, boost gauge, volt gauge. and i'm working on my fmic and downpipe, now i'm running 12psi and have no problems.. i am also considering standalone.. how is the weather by you? it might be rev limiter your hitting and not fuel cut, you up the boost now you need to shift alittle faster, thats what i had to do. but i am not a car wiz, i went by what a freind was telling me,he races professionally,(mustangs) 8.50 in the 1/4...he knows alot about performance and the limits on our cars..ask someone close to you it might be rev limiter.remember i'm no pro just my .02 (mp3yellow
