Hey I have a set of road magnet lowering springs for sale. The springs were only on the car for about 2500 miles. They are like new. The only reason I took these off the car was because they do lower the car quite a bit (about 1-1.5 inches) and the roads around here aren't that great and we get quite a bit of snow, so the stock ride height was a better choice for me. The road magnet springs offer a pretty aggressive drop without compromising ride quality. Theses springs new sell for $260 for a set.
I'm looking for $150 shipped within Canada and the US.

Do you need to adjust anything else in the suspension or get an alignment after installing these? Does it effect the camber, wear, etc. of the tires?

i havent noticed any increased wear of the tires, there is a slight camber, but nothing serious, you can check my pictures page to see the amount. Allignment is always a good idea after adjusting the geometry of a suspension.

as jbiird said. I didn't notice any negative effects while they were on the car, such as abnormal tire wear, and I didn't get an alignment when I put them on. Not to say you shouldn't, I just never got around to it..

How hard is the installation? What can you buy to correct the camber?

i think a good allignment would be enough to correct the camber. If you feel otherwise, you can buy camber adjustment plates. I'm not sure of other companies that make them, but I know Mazdaspeed offers them as an accessory.

The main thing you need to worry about after the installation of lowering springs is to get your TOE settings set back to where they're supposed to be. Improper toe will do much more damage to your tires than increased camber...Besides, camber isn't really adjustable on these cars from the factory anyway (rear camber will change very slightly when the toe is adjusted but is not independently adjustable).

Now, having said that, they still might produce more negative rear camber gain than some people desire for proper balance at the limit, but at least you'd be erring on the side of caution (that is, increased rear negative camber in relation to front camber will cause MORE understeer than stock).

How hard is the installation?

sorry, I missed that part. I didnt do the installation, Roadmagnet installed mine directly. I can say from past spring/strut installs, that it is not entirely difficult to do with the right tools. You should be able to do it yourself if you are mechanically inclined. You will need to rent a spring compressor most likely tho, you can get taht at any pepboys/autozone.

If only these springs lowered the car a lil bit more. Im looking for something like the sportlines.. that has a pretty big drop or else I would have already jumped on this. Good luck though.

these springs lower the car at least as much as the eibach sportlines. A friend of mine has sportlines (from the regular 3) on his speed 3 and mine with the road magnets was just as low if not lower, not to mention mine felt like it handled quite a bit better with the road magnets.

Ill have to get back to you on them... Im interested but I might put that money towards getting my bumper fixed. Ill letcha know.

haha your a bastard lol... I love how everyone sells stuff really really cheap when Im trying to pay off debt. But then no one has nothing when I actually have the money to spend. Its fabulous!!! Why did you get rid of these again?
