Frosted and LEDS....I also started painting my engine cover last weekend, I'll post pics later.
Any comments?

**They're not NEARLY as blue as they look in the pics, they're all Ultra-White**

Sorry, can't see difference. How is this different than what came with the car from the factory? Benefits? Advantages?

Meh, they pretty much just look sickk...They're whitter than factory and look much classier. The frosted outside-light plastic gives the LEDs more of a "diffused" look, making the map/dome lights look more "Lexus-caliber." And at night the whole car lights up white...it's amazing.

Someone mentioned that when they put the LED's inside the car that there was a problem with the dimming when you lock the car and the lights didn't turn off completely.

Do yours turn off completely?

I just checked, and yep! They all turn completly off when they're supposed to be off. I read about that too, and I was hoping that wouldn't be an issue!

what kinda bulbs u used for the lic plate?

I used the same 194 6LED bulbs as the map lights. Ultra white. The white color doesn't show up too well in a picture, though... They're not blue in color.

How is it inside the car? Does the white actually light up the interior like the stock yellow? I put in a couple red leds and while it looks cool, it does absolutely nothing to me if i need to read something at night.

i bought mine from superbrightleds.com and this is what i used..

1. For the front map lights you need 2 LED bulbs, use WLED-x6 Wedge Base Bulbs
= I also used this LED in my rear plate number lights to make it more brighter

2. For the Rear Passenger and Cargo Lights you need 1 each of 3022-x4 LED Festoon Bulbs 30x10mm

I used the same, but for the rear and cargo lights I used 1 for each 3022-x9 LED Festoon Bulbs, to make it brighter.

Annd...

With the plastic frosted, they work just as well as the factory yellow lights. The white lights up the car enough to read or find something.

My wife went ape-s*** when I put blue LED's inside the car. They got changed pretty much that minute. The white are ok, they don't dim the sorta flicker out but whatever. I have all of the standard bulbs in the CX-7 now. I put the LED's in the TSX.

They weren't bright enough?

LED map lights

Just put in the LED lights in my CX. they look great at night, so much nicer than those yellow looking OEM ones.

How do you change out the map lights? Manual says to have dealer do it.

I sent you the link via PM, moderators here don't like it when you post links to other forums like mcx7 dot com
