front left squeak when going around right hand corners

Hey guys just curious if anyone has some insight to this problem. I have an MP3 with about 70,000km on it and there are slotted/drilled rotors on it. When i go around right hand corners there is a rubbing/squeaking noise that comes from the front drivers side wheel assembly of the car. I took the little brake pad holders out and reinstalled the brake pads and the noise went away for about 15km and then was back worse than before. Sometimes it even gets louder and sounds like an evil metal on metal grinding noise. I have taken everything apart and from what I can see there are no rubbing marks on anything...
Anyone have any thoughts I would love to hear them.
thanks

maybe a wheel bearing going bad? But sometimes it`s the break pad itself.. cheap break pads will squeek. an old trick is to grind the edges (front and back) of the pad so that they dont have contact.. reduces squeeking for some reason. but a quality pad has that already done.
