Team,

Here are some shots of the kit finally done for the Mazda 3, should be pretty crazy but clean when I am done with it. This is not the final color, it will be turboed from Hass Turbo, 19x10's all the way around, you don't need to do that but that is what I am running. I will update more in Feb. when I get the car back from Cali. and start putting it all together the way I want.

Head on shot

I want to see it painted!!!! and you are leaving the back completely stock?
Well the back isn't completely stock, it has side pieces. The front is just a lip as you know but the center of the rear I didn't want to cover because it is black from the factory and has good styling points. Once you see it painted you will see how good it looks. Also, to keep the price down of the kit we didn't do full bumpers and things, plus with fiberglass kits when you do full bumpers that s*** never fits right. Less chance of error and saving time, saves me and you money. Understand?

sure do. do you have any expected dates for completion (paint and everything)? Also, any plans for a sedan?

They don't have a 4 door car to make a kit from, I just have a hatch man, don't know what to tell you on that one..haha

well where are they located???? if they are in Ca they can use mine

it looks like that kit will pretty well be sitting on the ground even on stock springs.....hard to tell without the wheels on though......

I know I have no say in this nor does my opinion matter, but I think that if you were to taper the width off as it goes towards the front of the car it would look better... less space craft-y.

Don't get me wrong you have done a nice job so far.

It looks like a VW Bug? Are kidding me...hahahaha.

Its just a little too wide, almost like wheel wells. Nobody in their right mind would mix that up with a bug.

the flares should go up a little higher and have a smoother transition. that way it would be smoother flowing. also for the rear, at the highest point of the flares you should have extended the whole piece so it goes back towars the end of the car. but I will wait to see it painted

Wow, it's got a neat DTM look to it. Do you have any pics of the actual construction of the kit, ie a step by step pics of the buildup of the pieces?
