Forge Valve install/impressions

hahaha off off topic back to original

God, you're going to love that thing. the best part was after I was done putting it on, I was all "that's it?"

all you need is a 10mm socket and a pair of pliers.

edit: also, a 2-3 inch extension doesn't hurt. that way you're not clanking the valve or the intake as you tighten.

oh, and I do like the blue spring. the yellow might be too soft. I'd swap it out before you put it on.

Yeah, gotta love the install. I'm still not sure on the whole yellow vs. blue spring, I'll probably end up trying both.

well I am happy with blue, maybe you can tell me if you try yellow. I think the blue is ever so slightly too stiff, but I am thinking it will break in a bit and work perfectly.

Yeah, I'll let you know. I think I'll try yellow first (so I can get it out of hte way faster lol).

haha yeah I had it at my desk at work and I was bored (as per usual) so I swapped it out. definitely let me know what you think.

I ran the yellow then went to blue, then red, now im back to blue it works the best for stock boost IMO.

HA, wow, this thread has come a long way in the 10 min it took me to come home from work...

seriously though... nobody has called anybody this guy will believe?

i would love for one of them to chime in here.

if they say anything different than what i have been telling you, i will eat my words.

you are dumping hot air. replacing it with fresh air (introducing a restriction into the mix; the air filter) heating up said fresh air going through the turbo. cooling it down going through the intercooler.

i am dumping hot air into cool air. heating up that mixture at the turbo. and cooling it with my intercooler.
