you are dumping hot air. replacing it with fresh air (introducing a restriction into the mix; the air filter) heating up said fresh air going through the turbo. cooling it down going through the intercooler.

i am dumping hot air into cool air. heating up that mixture at the turbo. and cooling it with my intercooler.

yeah i respect there opinion if they say diff then i might buy it, but from my seat of the pants expercance the car is faster in vta, plus i did read all this in turbo & hightech performance magazine..

i didnt even notice that before you said it though. VTA is just stupid on a car with the MAF before the turbo. it has been proven time and time again on several other cars. but because people are so moronic they say "that isnt our car" . its a MAF they all do the same s***. and for those who will come ans say "i run VTA and my car is great"....no it isnt. just cuz it doesnt stall or backfire doesnt mean it is "great"

"that is my car" cuase i have the standback, its "not your car" cuase you don't like i said if you don't have the standback i wouldn't recommend going vta UNLESS you have no cats the who cares if it farts here and there...and its not a 600$ boost controller just cuase you say it is it controls fuel, tmeing, etc.
