does replacing the stock bpv with the forge cure the intermittent boost issue? Let me explain.

I have a brand new 2008.5 black mica speed3 and the boost doesn't seem consistant. If I run it up from a standing start, it pulls like a freight train, but if I am just bopping around town and shift down to second or third and nail it, it doesn't pull nearly as hard. Just wondering if it's the stock bpv or if I should be taking it in for the dealer to look into. Car is completely stock, and less than 1k on it so far.

sometimes it has to do with heat soak from moving slowly after the motor being hot....it could be a small unnoticeable studder cause by your spark plugs which can be fixed with the NGK plugs....it has a great deal to do with weather also. i mean sometimes i get on it and pull a 17-18 psi right to redline in every gear...other times im pushing to get 15 out of her. it could be a s*** load of different variables.

Firstly, the stock tubes to and from the intercooler had very little torque on the hose clamps. I noticed this when I exchanged InterCooler out. I have had some experience with hose clamps and pressure rated hoses and tubing. And it surprised me . so I tightened them. No boost gauge , but car ran better under the throttle. The valve seems to be leaking though, I have ordered the Forge with those preety blue tubes from SU, so I will let you know. If it stabilizes a little. I think I would want the dealer to have a look. It might be something they can correct easy. Good luck

I am pretty sure the ms3 comes with NGK plugs.

fomoco fo' sho'. get the 1 step colder ngk plugs. trust me....youll notice a difference. no more stuttering and igniting issues. it just runs smoooooooth. plus if your adding mods they suggest you put in 1 step colder on hp increase....like 50-100 get 1 step colder or something. whatever....either way your just helping...unless you **** up and ignition coil or something.
