IIRC A BOV or better BPV releases pressure between the turbo and throttlebody when the throttleplate is close. It reduces the chance of damage to the turbo by compressure surge, in so it also could decrease boost lag because compressure surge can cause the turbo to slow or stall.
ARe you talking about Forge BOV or BPV? Only downside like most BOV is venting the warm air inside the engine bay...it gets hot. Holds boost really good, sounds good, better throttle response.
Talking bout the Forge Blow Off Valve. Just wondering how it would benefit replacing the stock bypass valve performancewise. Soundwise; I got the Injen and can't seem to find a good video cause every Forge setup is without it...
