Let's talk about fluttering...
I'm one of those guys that took off their Forge BPV, because I couldn't tell if it was improving performance or damaging my car.
Call me dumb, ignorant, whatever, but I just couldn't tell whether I was getting compressor surge or not. Sound is nice and all, but what really matters is performance, does "harshness" off the line count as increased performance? I have a hard enough time keeping my wheels from screeching while stock, thus with the FBPV I know I'm pulling hard, but I just can't tell if it's hurting the turbo. You know what I mean? Last thing I want to do is damage the turbo. Yeah, I suppose I'm scared.
Not to mention, CEL keeps turning on for the Flutter Valve P2006, will this eventually damge the turbo/engine if I don't get this fixed ASAP? Work has provided me with interesting hours to say the least.
And I just turned over 6800 miles on a car I got in April 07, am I the most non-driving MS3 owner out there, aside from my deployed brethren? I have a nice bike and I like to ride it... Also, I used to take her to 120-140mph on a regular basis in Germany along A6, A3 and A93. SO, in reality she is resting.
