If any of you were out Saturday night March 12, 2005 on Westheimer and HW6 you may have noticed that Westheimer was blocked off back towards RSI and Big Dogs...well incase you were wondering here's the story
Investigators say alcohol was involved in an overnight wreck that killed a Houston firefighter.

Detectives say another car rammed the victims's from behind, causing it to flip and land on its roof.
It happened just before midnight in the 16300 block of Westheimer.
Fireman Henry Martinez died at the scene.
Detectives say another car rammed his from behind, causing it to flip and land on its roof.
His female passenger was taken to Memorial Hermann in serious condition.
Authorities say the driver of the vehicle that struck them, 42-year-old Nasser Zaghmout, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
Martinez, 44, was a 22-year veteran with the Houston Fire Department and leaves behind five children.

It's all kind of scary because I know that's where a lot of you race, in that particular area...that guy and his family are in my prayers...
I'm just thankful it wasn't one of us out there...
