Foglights

I have a 2013 Mazda 3 that did not come with fog lights and I was wondering if anyone has ever installed these:

If so are they easy to install (apart from removing the bumper), and where does the light switch go??

I wouldn't have guessed that there was such a large chunk of plastic involved - I was thinking just the opening where the light goes, but I've never dug in behind the front bumper cap.

The switch obviously doesn't go where the stock fog light switch goes, which is a collar on the light control stalk. Perhaps it goes in a blank spot low on the dash left of the column, in the area with the defeat switches for the stability control and other functions?
