does any know which fog lights besides the stock will look good on a protege5 i have search around here and saw a couple of pics, the reason i am asking is because today i saw that one my fog light has a crack so i am looking to buy new ones, and if some one is selling the stock ones let me know and i will buy them from you...

Yep, you're better off dumping those useless, expensive stock fogs and getting the fog light delete kit.

If you insist on aftermarket fogs, Catz SR are slightly smaller than stock and are getting scarce, but they fit and work well. Check eBay. You can try to get PIAA 520s to fit but since they're a little bigger than stock they'll require some modification. PIAA 540s should drop right in but will probably look a little goofy since they're about an inch smaller than stock. No doubt they'll perform well, though.

Or if you have glass coverage on your insurance with a 0 decuctable on glass. Then you call your insurance company and they send you to your local Mazda Dealer and they pay to have a brand new one installed at no cost to you.

I've had two fog lights replaced this way.

Mine wouldn't cover the fogs with glass coverage. You could use clear silicone to get by & keep water out until getting replacements. Try the FS section. I scored a pair from there to replace my rock chipped ones with(& got rock blockers for them) whenever my lazy ass gets it swapped or when the silicone fails & they stop working.
