fog light bulb changing

so whats the way to change the bulbs in the fogs. does the lens just screw off from the outside? ive tried turning just the clear lens but cant get it to move so its either the wrong way to do it or its stuck there.

you have to remove the housing from the bumper, and remove the rear cover to get access to the bulb. hopefully, the screws aren't rusted out...

so ill be pulling the bumper off? gotta do that anyway since one of my bulbs doesnt sit right in the headlight housing for some reason. need to figure that out

you dont have to. you can get to the back of the housing from underneath.

my guess on the bulb: the low beams should have a spacer adapter on the bulb.

i got the adapter and all, just for some reason the drivers side bulb wont go all the way through the hole in the housing. same deal with the stock halogens or the hid bulbs. so its gotta be a housing issue

btw, when are we meeting up? im in new britain for school everyday but weekends

For the headlight bulb, is it rotated to the right position? If not, it won't sit properly. For the fog light, get your head under the bumper and look up at the fog light, there is a big nut there that holds it on to the bumper. Undo that nut and the fog light comes out from the front. Then there are two screws on the sides of the fog light on the back. As stated earlier, hope that they hav'nt rusted! Take those screws out and the assembly will come apart giving you access to the H3 bulb for your foglight.

those will work, but i would pay the $2.00 for the cheap ebay ones before i buy piaa's.

whatever, yeah. my opinion is to get the cheap ones, but nothing more than 55w. that way, you arent as pissed in three months when they burn out. imagine spending the $55 for the piaa's and having then burn out in 5 months and having to replace them. spend $5 and you wont care.
