Hey everyone i'm new here but I am goign to be the #2 turboed protege come saturday next to Spoolin. Just something i saw on the threads that I thought needed to be cleared up. YOu don't have to use additional injectors or stand alone for a custom turbo. You can use an FMU we do have a Fuel Pressure regulator and it is vaccum regulated. Look on your vacuum chart on the inside hood of your Protege and you will find the FPR and then the return fuel line and there you go an FMU can be used...same basis on how we can use the ZEX kit or the EFI NOS kit. Just wanted to clear that up.

chdesign glad to see you on this side of the pond! Good luck on your turbo and it is true no need for stanalone managment or bigger injectors when running low boost applications (5-6psi)

I'm using a Vortec 10:1 FMU...later this summer I am ditching it though and goign to 2 additional injectors and a SDS controller. www.sdsefi.com Hey Spoolin what fuel pump are you using? I'm going to use the MSD pump. I'm just curious.

Hey I have a question for the Turbo 2,

How good is that MSD Fuel Pump, and what is the part Number? Is it inline, and would it be good let's say for N20 applications?

It is a very good pump! Made by bosch same one used in most of the Honda turbo kits. It was originally designed as a N2O booster pump but many use it for Turbo also. Summit has it for 90 bucks. MSD Part# 2229 i believe. If you are looking for the balls out pump get a T-Rex but it iwll run you quite a bit more. And yes it is inline.
