i bought a custom fmic kit from a member here on the forum, and everything but the hotside pipe fits great. the hotside pipe setup is kind of like what i've seen of the MAM kit. but for some reason, there's no room for the pipe to go anywhere. there is a sheet of metal and 2 power steering cooling lines in the way of the intercooler inlet. can anyone please help me?

are you talking about the power steering cooler lines that run in front of the radiator? a lil more detailed info to exact locations of things would help us alot :)

yep, those are the ones. i'll get some pics up soon, which i should've done in the first place anyway.

with my begi fmic, IIRC, it came with a little bracket that kinda held the power steering lines back and out of the way. I don't remeber exactly how, but basically they are kinda just slightly bent out of the way.
If the sheet of metal you speak of is the center bumper support thing, then you will probably have to remove that. I did. Depending on if you have motor mounts it may cause your hood to rattle in it's latch. I only have a temp ghetto fix for that so far.

I placed the PS cooler behind the hood latch support. My core didn't interfere with the support itself.

I am having the same problem Nick! I got my bumper off finally to figure the routing of the piping. But I think my problem may be a huge fmic!!

I think we are thinking of the same side anyways......the turbo to ic right?
