Just landed a 2015 CX-5 and from what I can tell there is no way to change between FM1, FM2, AM etc. using the audio controls on the steering wheel. Am I correct? My ex Honda had that feature and it sure was convenient. I figured out I could use the voice recognition by saying radio FM2 or radio AM. Just not as convenient.

You are correct. The CX5 does not have a "source" toggle button on the steering wheel, only station/track selection.

..and you also need to use the touchscreen to toggle between HD channels....very annoying, especially if you choose HD2 for a specific station and then use the steering wheel to go to the next station, it goes back to the first station in the group.

Embarrassing that my my wifes Buick and sisters Hyundai have better infotainment and steering wheel functionality! You would think Mazda would have plenty of young engineers..........

Looks like voice is only option (5-90)

Switching modes
1. Press the talk button.
2. Prompt: “Ready”
3. Say: [Beep] “Change mode”
4. Prompt: “Available audio modes are: AM, FM, FM1, FM2, Sirius, Sirius1, Sirius2, Sirius3, USB, iPod, Bluetooth audio, Pandora, CD, AUX, Turn off audio”
5. Say: [Beep] “XXX (Ex. “AM”) (audio source)”
6. The audio source is switched.

If it makes you feel any better, my GF's mom's brand new Acura MDX makes it pretty hard to find the HD stations. You have to go through a few not very obvious sub menus to change to an HD substation...and that's starting from the radio screen! lol.

Edit...just found this. This is a different method than the way I found. It's easier...but not very obvious... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-ykE31M63Y
