An FM Transmitter that actually works?? heres my story.
I have an iPod, in my car, I have a HU with an aux input. in my wifes car (03 Elantra GT) she does not. since we are going to be car pooling starting next month, we wanted to be able to use my iPod in her car. so I started looking into FM Transmitters, just for the low cost and ease of use. I first bought a Belkin one from Best Buy. I bought it in Mentor, where my parents live, and tried it on the 20 minute drive home. it was TERRIBLE. no reception unless I was holding the transmitter. so I returned it 20 minutes later at the iPod in Mayfield, where I live. i started looking on this site and found that one.
its by a company called Newer Technology. it was only $15 and works pretty well. it still fades every once in a while, but the quality is just as good as any radio station. for $15 this will defintely suffice until i feel the need to replace her stock hu. just thought i'd share with the community.
