Floor mats

bump... are these still available?

Yes they are!! I just checked his website and the discounted price is still there. I still have my floor mats that I ordered under my bed. I will be finally putting them in this week since there is no more snow. They look great. If you have a MP3, then you probably have a good amount of miles by now. Replacing the floor mats with new stock MP3 mats is the least I can do for this car (burnout).

bought them the 10th, got them today, the 14th! SUPER FAST SHIPPING TIME.

anyways, i don't think they aren't 100% exactly the originals (see pic), but good enough for me! (they look great and fit perfect in my car... make it look brand new)

Your old mat looks looks different then my old ones. I just put my in on sunday (after sitting under my bed for the last 2 months), and the new mat's look exactly the same to me. Maybe your old mat's weren't original? Or the previous owner "tampered" with them.

Bizzaro's old mats are the same as my old ones. Were 2 different sets released?

You know what, I think you guys are right. I just looked at the old mat and it seems to have a rectangular shape where the gas pedal is (like in pic above). But my rectangle does not detach, it seems there is only a small imprint. Is supposed to be a smaller mat on the rectangular part?

Its not supposed to detach, i think his are just that worn that the stiching came out pulling up the top layer.

correct. the driver's floormat was beat/falling apart, but the rest were in okay condition (i kept for winter).

but i mean, god forbid NO RECTANGLE! doesn't bother me one bit, just something that caught my eye...

I personally like em without the heel plate, they look much better.

Do these have the same craptastic "spikes" on the bottom as the stock Proteg mats or are they deeper like the rubber-heeled 03.5 Mazdaspeed ones? My guess is the former, but I have to ask. I have the latter, and can't see myself putting in the older style, except during the winter and even then I find them to be a safety hazard with the mat slipping everywhere...

^so they do have deeper spikes then the stock mats? hmmm, might be tempted to pick some up and sell my mazdaspeed ones then...

I think you should do that ^^. You do have a MP3, not MSP (coming from someone who has a MSP shift knob (screwy)). We need to represent the long forgotten MP3's.

^That's why I'm thinking about it, but I need my question answered with certainty. The one reason I don't mind having some mazdaspeed things on my car (the Miata oil cap, the sidesills, the floormats, and a decal on the windshield soon), is that I've got AUTHENTIC mazdaspeed suspension parts coming in :)

I have the 3.5 shifter. But back on topic, CulRider needs to get rid of his mazdaspeed mats and get MP3 ones. Come on, you know you want to (poke).

won't consider it until someone gives me an answer! :D
It would work out that I could order them with the rest of the stuff I need from onlinemazdaparts
