I'm getting a flat tire thumping/flapping sound from the front driver's side of my sunroof. Has anyone else had the radio turned down enough to hear this, or am I the lucky one?

yes! i heard this to after i had my sunroof on tilt and was driving corners. But I havent put up my sunroof up in a long time due to the weather. I thought it was just the angle of the air flowing thru the roof. but the noise just went away.

This happens often and we never open the sunroof because we have a newborn. It starts around 45 mph, but doesn't happen all the time. I just would hate foe the dealer to keep my car for a few days and not be able to find it.

That's the sound of air trying to get in and out at the same time. Same thing happens if you crack one window on certain cars. Maybe just the back window, or maybe just the front window. Has to do with the random shape/volume of the car, and how it reacts to the wind while driving, combined with the venturi effect of the passing wind trying to suck air out of the car.

Unless I misunderstood the question, LOL.

I know what you're talking about. When you have a window down you can get a wierd sound, but you can also feel the presure changing. This sounds like something is flapping in the wind and thumping the roof/sunroof.
