flashed, w/ fmic/ tt/ gauges/ custom intake/ bov/ turbosmart ebc/ stock plugs/ boosting 11 psi daily for a while now ... Hope that helps - Dave

This is not looking good...most of the guys who are running good boost on the flash also seem to have a FMIC.

Hmmm..still deciding...I have till tomorrow anyway.

14psi 93octane, hardpipes, cold air intake stock plugs about to get colder copper plugs put in. Flashed. 8,000 miles, no probs, i already talked to you about my s*** :)

EDIT: Recently went back down to 7, because of the gas prices, and boost spike, i'm gonna fix this over the weekend and jump back to 14 (upyours)

About the engine stethescope on the dyno etc, which revealed that i was having no issues running that boost through any gear. No detonation no ping, etc. etc. We were talking about when i was going to the track etc. I'll PM you when i can, i'm at work right now, i should be on aol in about 1 hr.

I got the flash when it was first available(whenever that was). Got the MBC last June, and have been holding at least 10 psi since. Added the intake, DP and exhaust, and was holding a consistant 11 psi. Added the fmic a few months ago, and was holding 12 psi. Removed the DP last month, and I'm still holding 10.5-11 psi daily. 40,000+ miles and absolutely no issues.
EDIT:And this is with 91 octane....

Really?
OK hell with it.....I am going to flash it!
Matt

I am "flashed" run 9psi daily and run 13-15 psi at the track. I have more supporting mods than needed.

Let's remember that not every car is the same. Check out ONRAILS dyno plot with a/f ratios. At 10 psi his a/f ratio from 4k to redline is 12:1. Not bad, but any leaner would be dangerous. His car is flashed. If you are going to increase boost, do it right. At least go to the dyno and monitor the a/f ratios or buy a gauge, IMO

I was at 10 psi with the flash. I got the FMIC and it went to 11 psi.Mods are listed below. I took off the MBC and went back to stock boost. Kinda waiting to do some engine work beofore I go back up on Boost..

Well I just gave the dealer the OK to go ahead and FLASH the PCM.I will let everyone know what my personal impression is when I get the car back tonight.

you will like it! much more driveable with the flash. (nana)

Anybody w/ the flash can I just...

go into the dealer @ like 7:30am and just pull up and have them flash and drive back home. Or is this something that takes time, has to be put on a lift, etc.
Thinking about doing this now since the jerkiness in 1st and 2nd is really starting to annoy me.
