A pleasant experience at my local 'neighborhood' alignment shop. With 4,950 miles now on my MAZDASPEED, I took it in this morning. And believe me, they know how I am about my car. They take great pride in their work at Owen Alignment. A family owned business. My oil changes are also done here for both of our Mazdas.

They did mention that there is an ever so slight pull to the left, which has been mentioned on here before. I have noticed this since day one with my car, and I got used to it. Ever so slight.

Donnie Owen said that it was the belt in one of the tires, that has possibly shifted; causing the pull, and this is not uncommon. These are directional tires, but he eleviated the pull by switching it (undirectional). Keep in mind; this was all done while on the alignment rack. He told me his find, and mentioned that since these are directional tires, it would be best to keep them that way. I agreed.

Anyway; It's fine, and I probably notice the pull less now, then before. It's really non-existent.

They took excellent care of my Racing Harts; which, needless to say, concerned me. Just a great job! $84.12 - total.

I Love My MAZDASPEED!!!

Not a dealer, Jay. Basically; a mom and pop shop. A dealer won't touch my baby, unless it's a warranty item.

hehehehe i love where i work. Saturn car dealership in St. pete and i do all my own work to my saturn. When i get the MSP it will be the same way no one will touch it except the lifts!

rotation every other oil change..every 5-6 k miles...nothing but synthetic..especially since a turbo car. mobil one for my 6!

Anyone here rotate their tires themselves? I dont have a garage to work on my car, but I would like to do this myself. Would it be possible to jack each tire up and change it one at a time? Is this safe to do, using a torque wrench to screw the lugs on?

yes you can use a jack cause the sway bars allow you to jack up one side and get two of the wheels off the ground. I can get the car to three wheel just backing off of my curb. I have a lift but I have done it more than a couple times

The only tools I need is a car jack and torque wrench, correct?
