Finally ran tonight!!

From what I have seen since he got here and posted his Co2 sprayer, BlkZoomZoom has always been a pretty down to earth and hasn't boasted about crap. I see what Forcefed is saying about the 60ft times though, they do seem pretty high.

my car traps about the same as urs, but i can pull 2.2s on street tires, i dont see how you are runnign 13.6's with those 60's...
Yeah I will have to say that 2.3 60 footers on drag radials = horrible driver.Especially on the 16's.What size are your tires? If you could pull out a a 2.1 or a 2.0 you would prob have the fastest time to date on this board of any pro running a stock ECU or stand alone for that matter.
Matt

And BTW,I am all about some fast ass MSP's regardless of who's they are!

I am just wondering WTF on some of your numbers.
Matt

Matt how many times did youdrag on drag radials? Jeff? I have run on them before and honestly they dont help that much if you dont know how to drive. I used nitto drag radials and my 60s didnt drop that much at all.

If you havent used drag radials on your msp please dont assume. I have done it and i know if it spins alot which it will @13psi your 60s will suck. BUT the car will catch up damn fast at 13psi.

I believe you man!!

I have actually run better 60' w/ stock tires, but thats because I was running 8psi and stock other than that.

I had a very hard time launching the car, the 13.75 run was one of the best 60' and that is because I spun real hard and didn't let off. All the other times I lunched @ 1500 and bogged then spun.

azianer6- As I stated before I would turn the boost controller but wouldn't know what psi I was gonna run until I actually ran......And yes I heard the poor thing detonating all the way down the track.

HELL,at that rate,if you could KICK ASS and put yourself into a 1.9 60ft time.....I would see a 12.9xx in your future...If all of this is true.
Come up here and let me show you how to drive that damn thing!I will knock some time off for you.(second)

so now you were detonating all the way down the track and you heard it, and didn't let out? wow thats the dumbest s*** ever. guess you don't care much for your motor??

yeah the joe p is kinda wierd sometimes. So it detonated all the way down hey? Man i bet the car feels like a beast at 13-14 psi.

Alright now you did it...I wont' post here what I ran at but lets say 13 PSI....Please.....I did it on RE040's and still pulled a better 60 foot time spinning two plus gears and all.And YES I KNOW drag radials dont help out a WHOLE lot unless you know how to drive on them.Hmmmm?

Too bad frickin wrinkle walls would probably grenade a cv joint or I would run those.I have been racing for years ...so I think I know a little.C'mon now.You know I dont start s*** on these boards about times.I beleive his time ,he just needs some SERIOUS seat time launching this thing to get his 60's right.

Lol....First off I was catching up to a STI so I couldn't let off (I think you understand), and I do have anoter 2.0l out of a wrecked 02' protege sitting in my garage.

And yes it was amazing......13psi I Love you!!!

i personally wouldn't risk my motor to try to catch an sti, even if i had a spare...but i guess thats personal preference =)

I was hoping Joe P was gonna be there tonight, I would have let him drive it.

Oh and the guy w/ the yellow msp there can chime in anytime he wants.(not sure if he posts on the boards though)

hmm numbers are def. sketchy... 60ft and 1/8th times are off for those kind of 1/4 times...looking through my log book of my cars at the track these are the #s I came up wtih for comparison...my 95 turbo mx6 putting 160whp ran a 2.3 in the 60ft went thru the 1/8 at 9.07 and ended up with a 15.1 for the 1/4 @ 89mph. On a test and tune run my GSX ran a 13.8 in the 1/4 with an 1/8 trap of 8.3 and top mph @ 112....now granted AWDs run a little different the FWDs but the #s are odd...not calling bs....just saying a timeslip would be very very nice at this point...

I agree...Would make things a lot easier to beleive and UNDERSTAND..if we could see the slips for these runs.
Matt

I will try to post the slips tommorow........damn non believers

its not that i don't believe you, hey a fast protege, kickass, but with those 60's and traps, its really hard to believe it, sorry...
