Finally got pics of the system

Here's a few pics taken tonight; I'll post a few tomorrow of the head unit.

I had two major goals - be stealthy and give access to the spare. The system looks *almost* completely stock from the outside. The only thing that can be seen is a different head unit, but it's a double din so it's not too noticable. I'm using all Boston Pro's all around powered by a JL 300/4 and 2 10" JL 10w3v2's powered by a JL 500/1. I've got two 4 Gauge runs into the rear of the car, each with a 60 AMP fuse (more pics tomorrow while it's light).

I didn't *do* the work! I used to do this stuff when I was younger, but nothing I ever did looked like this

I sat down with the installer and brainstormed for a while, he was a bit challenged by the fact that I needed access to the spare; he spent about two solid days working on the car - longest part was dynomatting all 5 doors and the entire trunk. It got dark a bit too quickly today to snap some pics of the inside, but I'll try again tomorrow...

just a tiny bit of advice... if you dont even know how much materials and equipment cost... how do you have enough knowledge to do the install??? not tryin to be a dick... but if you haven't done this kind of work before... I would seriously rethink it... atleast take it to a shop where you can get more info and instructions/tips.... some shops are even willing to let you help on the project... just be warned.. its not easy work, and should really be done professionally

yes i know how to install a system, i hvae done it before in 3 cars, and they have all worked without a hitch. its just that prices arouind here are all jacked up and i wanna know what kind of prices he got and how much he paid in total. i am confident i can do a setup myself and make it look and work as good. here are the prices around me, (nyc area)

500/2 instead of 500/1 $450
300/4 $500
i already have all the wires

MDF - ~$40 for all of it depending on thickness
screws and glue and stuff $15

subs are expensiev around here, they charge around 250 for each w3v2 sub.

All the trim panels fit flush to the OEM panels. Yes 300/4 and 500/1 with 10w3's

JL Audio components all around with an Alpine in-dash TV and in-dash DVD.. plus Xbox

I'm ashamed of the cost of the install being that I used to do installs; but I'm older and lazier, so what the hell. I'll be the first to admit that it wouldn't look anywhere near as clean if I did it myself. I've been an MB Quart fan for years, but the Bostons did it for me - great sound outta them. Feel free to do what you will with the pics, they're here for all of us. So where is Irvington? I'm down South, right in between AC and Philly.

The dash around the HU is just aluiminum cut to fit inside, it matches the rest of the "theme". I wanted to keep it as close to stock looking as possible, so double din was the way to go
