2014 Mazda 6 Sport
I had to order, it took 2 months to get here, but I'm really happy since I got exactly what I wanted. It's gonna be a great base for some great mods. I won't bore you with pics of a standard Reflex Blue Sport with the manual, just a shot of the old and the new. I bought the Integra in 1998. Yup, I've had the same car for 15 years!

If they was going to order the car any way from the factory i would have tried to get them to give me the dark blue color that europe gets.

Before I had the 91 there, I had an 88 Integra almost the same color as Reflex Blue. I always loved the way the paint changed depending on the light. In the dark, and when it was snowy for some reason, it would get real dark, and in the bright sunlight it was real silvery. I am planning to do something to make it a bit more interesting, stay tuned!

Nice cars. I just purchased a 2014 Mazda6 GS White, pick it up tomorrow.

Hi, My last car was a 92 Integra that I bought new.

Have been driving it for 21 years! Looking forward to something new.

Love the 'teg! Mine has been so reliable I wish I could buy it again brand new, but the 6 is a good substitute.

The Integra was the perfect car for me. That's why I hung onto it for 21 years. It handled like a sports car, felt great ripping through the gears, and was also practical (had 4 doors). It was also extremely reliable, and good on gas. What more do you want from a car?

Too bad Honda changed their direction, or I would have bought another. The closest they had for a replacement was an Acura TSX, but the 2014 Mazda6 trumped it in my opinion.

21 years ago, I traded in my 85 Honda Prelude for the Integra. Loved that car too.

My first car was an 83 Prelude. I loved that car. It handled like a dream and I thought I could outrun Senna in that car! Great memories. I wish Honda would start making fun cars again like the the Integras and Preludes.

I agree awleland. Honda needs to get back to it's roots, making fun, affordable cars that never ever break down. This near luxury kick, and the super awkward design (have you seen the European Civic Tourer?!) have ruined it for me. I just hope Mazda keeps the good work going and sells enough cars to survive and thrive. They're doing it right!

ok update....

Yes the Civic Tourer is hideous. I was a diehard Honda guy back in the 80s and 90s but they have gone in an entirely different direction. Their cars are so bland now. That is why I have a new 6 in my garage. Mazda is doing it right.

2oom 2oom, that's funny!

Picked up my new ride today, fits nicely in my garage. Enjoyed the drive home from the dealer.

Was up on my father's roof doing some painting, and was pleased to see the M6 can hold an 8' step ladder and close the trunk!

^ an 8ft Ladder?? wow that's impressive but personally I would have not done it on a brand new car lol unless you placed a blanket and other stuff to protect the interior

Ha, funny thing is the ladder was originally brought down to the other house using my old Integra. I used to stuff all kinds of things in that trunk (because it was a 21 yr old car) and I usually tied the trunk closed with a rope (and a blanket protector for the trunk lid)
When I finished my basement, the entire laminate floor (700 sq ft) came home in the Integra from the hardware store.

But the Teg is gone, and I had to get my ladder back home somehow.

I noticed there isn't an easy way to tie down the trunk lid due to an insolating cover over the trunk substructure.

When you fold down the seats, only the trunk rug is exposed, so the ladder doesn't touch any of the brand new interior.

I was pleased to find out a rope wasn't necessary :) FTW M6.
