when we made these pipes we also did an intake.
are you going to offer that or am I going to have to forfit that fine piece of hardware and settle for a stamped out p.o.s.(ie; injen,A.E.M)?

Who is we?

I have the intake on right now, Hoover is addressing some fitment issues. There are a few new items that may get thrown into R&D. They could possibly throw the market into a fury...

About how long does it take to install them, and do you have to take anything else off besides the stock ic pipes?

Thanks,
Ryan

It took me about 2 hours once i really got working on it ... the stock pipes are sort of a pain in the ass to get off because the plastic exapands and contracts with the temperature.. i would say you should run your car for about 10 mins to warm them up before trying to get them off ... watch the heatshield though ... i burnt myself through a set of mecanics gloves.

We refers to hoover and I.
we made the hard pipes and intake on my car at the same time.
is it still going with the 6 inch filter with the tunnel ram?

when you guys remove the stock pipes you should use a heat gun or a hair dryer instead of burning your hands.

Just use some strength and wiggle and the stock pipes will come off. Just make sure not to scratch up the finish on your hardpipes. You'll be surprised how easily polished alum scratches, and you don't want your new pipes looking jacked up. If you don't remove your intake, then you will have to do a little maneuvering to get the pipes in place.

Well, I was going to put my pipes and hks bov on tonight, but I need to get a clamp tool and some hoses (little tiny things) I am not sure where they are supposed to hook up to. Can someone take a picture of how they hooked the hks up to a intake manifold source. I see several tubes but am not sure which one to tap into.

Thanks for the help in advance.

hows the smic coming along??? any info??? getting giddy all over it... I hope the price is right... will you do a gb with the smic & hard pipes??? Will you ship to Canada? (Free I hope...)

The Pipes are on sale for $380. With the SMIC it is $975.

Is the sale price of $380 the "shipped price"? In one of your GB's, you were charging $33 to weld on a Greddy Type-S flange...how close to that $33 price, can you honor this time around?

I'm very interested in buying the best hardpipes out there and if I can save a few bucks, even sweeter! ;)

[I won't out-grow these pipes...planning on the TurboHoses SMIC upgrade]

The tig weld and a greddy or HKS flange is $88. The GB price was $63 which was set prior to getting the tig welding done. We took a hit on each tig weld because it costs us more than $63 to do it. We had to change the price to cover the costs to put the flange on. Thanks...
