FD's on Proteges Club

I agree, I love the added ride comfort and handling. Plus I get looks everywhere I go.

yeah, I'll admit, first time I saw this setup on another protege, I didn't like the meatyness of the rubber, but I've gotten compliments from a couple muscle car guys already.

add me in the club! i will post pictures later. It was a pita because the mecanic balanced the wheels and he put the weights inside so it was rubbing even with 5mm spacers. I had to put like washer all around(1 or 2mm i dont know). And now its pretty perfect. But i dont want to see how much vibration i will get on the highway...

hehe. im gonna roll like that for some times and see if thats too bad on highway. im gonna buy the real s*** loll.

up to 60kmh it was all good. but i was rubbing a little on medium bumps.

you wouldn't catch me dead with washers on my lugs.... mostly because my bet is you wouldn't find me living with them if I tried it.

I'm running non-hubcentric spacers, but they're shallow enough that I'm still getting hubcentric contact on the wheel itself.

yeah, 15mm is a WHOLE different ballgame, but with a 15mm spacer you have no place in this thread, because theres no way in hell you could pull that off.

You're crazy... You don't think I could fit a 16x8 with an effective +35 offset? Not with 245/45 like you're running, but I could definitely fit 225/35 on front & stretch the rear a little with 205/40. Worse comes to worse, 195's in the rear, but they would fit; no rubs.
