Looks good! Im looking at picking up some v710s (slicks) for the FD rims. And selling off the RE01Rs =( The v710s are 215/45/16. I think itll work out.

yea those rear tires look small. Fronts look beefy and mean. I Loled when u put flush on that pic.

45 profile is a little small, but for the price I can't complain. when I wear the 245/45s out the fronts will come closer to matching too.

OMG it took you 10 years but you finally did it! ;) Just kidding, looks good. I also got mine done last week, forgot to post pics in this thread.

You've got it wrong. More rubber is like having a bigger... *hahem*.... lets you get away with more when you're pushing your limits.

lol, my "hahem" is big enough, and it just gets me into trouble. haha try going fast with those tires and then get back to me on what ur thoughts about them. ur taller side wall and larger tire will most likely allow ur tire to stretch more at high speeds putting less rubber to the road so unless ur in an autocross event or on a twisty windy road where u cant reach high speeds i think the wider and lower profile tire wins in that sense

the setup is designed around autoX, and do you realize the kind of speeds it takes to stretch tires in the way you're describing? These freckin things are Z rated.... so contact patch, not an issue even at speed.

lol my tires on my racing harts were z rated and at 130 mph there was hardly any rubber on the road. u could feel it, it was like i was almost floating.

and i think the rating just stands for how long the tire can withstand certian speeds not how they perform at high speeds. i might be wrong im not a tire guru

that feeling is because you were traveling 130 mph, having nothing to do with contact patch size. and the letter corresponds to a speed the tire is rated safe at, having nothing to do with duration.

is that what i just said?(boom03)
