Haha yeah right.

If anything's "The Champaign [sic] of beers", it's a good Belgian Tripel. Some of them even remind me of champagne. They also can be just as strong as champagne (9-12+ % ABV). At one of my favorite brewpubs (Porterhouse in Lahaska, PA), they have a Tripel that's about 10.5% ABV, and they give you a full pint...its fun to watch people sit and drink 3 pints of it thinking it's just 3 beers, get up to go to the bathroom, and fall down because they're drunk off their ass. Those 3 beers add up to be a little over 9 standard drinks.

I've enjoyed Arrogant Bastard Ale on occasion, as well.

I to am on a quest to try every beer on the damn planet. I tried Blueberry Ale at the NEPOC meet, and enjoyed it.

Also, ANY beer made by the Brown's brewing company. Their Oatmeal Stout and Hefe-Weizen are so very very yummy:
