Agree with T3ase on the Prodigy and Crystal Meth. And damn if I wasn't gonna say Slipknot hits hard as hell if your subs can keep up with them!
Here's my list of favorites

Rock: Kyuss: Caterpillar March, Sepultura Chaos A.D. , NIN - Down in it, Anything with a standup bass like Tiger Army or the Flametrick Subs

Rap : The entire Westside Connection Album(I had to relocate my Cd changer from the back of my Jeep just so I could play this album without it skipping)

You might be able to tell from that that I prefer clean bass that sounds a little more natural. That's just me, though!

It can never sound natural becuase it isn't. Its computer created bass. No instament can make that sound.

Chemical Brothers - Influenced, of their Surrender album. Makes my eardrums vibrate.

My selection: Chemical Brothers- Any CD, Crystal Method- Vegas(High roller is very good for LOW notes), and The Prodigy- Any CD.

Actually, The Prodigy's first CD(Experience) is the best of the 3 Prodigy CD's. More talent, better bass too. By The Fat of the Land they had got too popular and their music reflected that.

Did anyone ever buy the first Limp Bizkit album (3 Dollar Bill Yall)?

Track 8 entitled "Clunk" has one of the strongest, lowest bass hits I have heard in the metal(ish) scene. It only happens twice in that song, so listen close.

Any - Future Sound of London

Candiria - 300 percent Density - Jazz/Rap/Hardcore fusion album. Worth checking out if you like any Hardcore or New East Coast Metal.
