Favorite BASS Song

I would say the song called: "6 Deep Creepin." by Dirty, off the album "The Pimp & Da' Gangsta." That song pounds like no other. (smash) (hear ya)

Damn, some really really good responses! I half expected to see ALL rap and /or dance stuff.

Agree with T3ase on the Prodigy and Crystal Meth. And damn if I wasn't gonna say Slipknot hits hard as hell if your subs can keep up with them!
Here's my list of favorites

Rock: Kyuss: Caterpillar March, Sepultura Chaos A.D. , NIN - Down in it, Anything with a standup bass like Tiger Army or the Flametrick Subs

Rap : The entire Westside Connection Album(I had to relocate my Cd changer from the back of my Jeep just so I could play this album without it skipping)

and don't forget the good ol 1812 overture!

You might be able to tell from that that I prefer clean bass that sounds a little more natural. That's just me, though!

If you or your installer knows what you're doing, then even Luke & DJ Magic Mike can sound clean...

It can never sound natural becuase it isn't. Its computer created bass. No instament can make that sound.

Ok...

But my frat bro's set up back in the day was the cleanest I had heard at that point in my life... I just pm'd you too...

Clean and natural are very different.

What are you telling me all that bass I love in Masta Ace songs are not made by some sort of insturment???? :D

Didn't see that one mentioned either
Masta Ace's "Sittin on Chrome" Album is CLASSIC

Drum'n'bass scorcher "Ed Rush & Optical - White Lightning" is one of my bass-ripping faves. Waiting for my new ported box for the sub so that it could properly rip at the lowest freqs.

Well, you're probably right. I just want my music loud, clear, & free of distortion. Trunk Rattlers Don't Impress Me...

not well known but defenitly good stuff.

Master Ace!!! Definitely a lot of bass there. Really forgotten about him...

How about...
The 1st album from "The Roots" Track-10 "Do You Want More"

&

"Method Man's" - "Bring The Pain"...

Chemical Brothers - Influenced, of their Surrender album. Makes my eardrums vibrate. :)

My selection: Chemical Brothers- Any CD, Crystal Method- Vegas(High roller is very good for LOW notes), and The Prodigy- Any CD.

Actually, The Prodigy's first CD(Experience) is the best of the 3 Prodigy CD's. More talent, better bass too. By The Fat of the Land they had got too popular and their music reflected that.

Turn back the Clock

Did anyone ever buy the first Limp Bizkit album (3 Dollar Bill Yall)?

Track 8 entitled "Clunk" has one of the strongest, lowest bass hits I have heard in the metal(ish) scene. It only happens twice in that song, so listen close.

The new Crystal Method album has got some nice stuff.("Born slow" sounds like it samples The Buffy Theme song?!?!)

Found some other albums this week while I was driving to Austin.

Any - Future Sound of London

Candiria - 300 percent Density - Jazz/Rap/Hardcore fusion album. Worth checking out if you like any Hardcore or New East Coast Metal.

Beastie Boys-Paul Revere
LL Cool J-Boomin system (the imported version)
MTX Base Zone (this is old school and I believe only a few thousand made)
Most songs of Tribe Called Quest on the low end theory CD

I would have to say:

DMX-X gon' give it ya
Ludacris-Act a fool
Nelly-Air Force Ones
